Save the Children
Since 2009, the jeweler has been actively involved in aiding Save the Children. This year, Bulgari raised over 20 million dollars for the charity through sales of a limited edition of its iconic ring, B.Zero1. A portion of sales is donated to programs for disadvantaged children run by Save the Children.
Save the Children helps kids with educational programs in over one hundred countries. Bulgari’s donations have already helped over half a million children and enabled training for some 18,000 teachers in war zones or disaster areas.
Jasmine Whitbread, Chief Executive of Save the Children, is gratified by this collaboration, stating: "This ring is really the most precious of jewels, because it has the power to change lives." Celebrities including Jessica Biel have helped spread this spirit of generosity by posing for the Save the Children ad campaign.
The partnership is a great source of pride for Bulgari and its CEO Michael Burke, who notes: "Sharing of efforts and values allows us to reconcile business growth with sustainable development, communicating a positive message in times of economic and political uncertainty."
