Dior celebrates
Christmas with Printemps

The Printemps Haussmann department store in Paris is decked out in elegant style for this year’s holiday season, inviting Dior to curate its 11 display windows around the theme "Noël, Inspirations parisiennes by Dior". The festivities were inaugurated on November 9 by Dior brand ambassador Marion Cotillard.

The store’s windows present a dreamlike tableau of emblematic Parisian sites, including the Opera, Avenue Montaigne and the Eiffel Tower. Four windows are animated with 74 specially-designed puppets wearing miniature Dior outfits. Some of the iconic couture pieces are signed by Dior new Creative Director Raf Simons.

The partnership between Dior and Printemps is also featured in an advertising campaign shot by Mario Testino, featuring top models Carolyne Murphy and Sui He, who pose atop the roof of the fashion temple, dressed from head to toe in Dior. The campaign breaks on November 15 in newspapers and display ads throughout the City of Light.

The collaboration has also inspired a limited edition of products to be sold at the store, including a specially designed advent calendar, a pop-up book on Maison Dior, plus "Christmas Tales" silk print pumps and a bottle of  J’Adore perfume by Jean-Michel Othoniel. Printemps shopping bags will feature an exclusive motif too.
