Miraculous blooms for Christian Dior

VIEW PHOTOS

FW 2010/11 Haute Couture. For Christian Dior, poet-gardener John Galliano chose the gardens of the Rodin museum in Paris to let his colorful flowered women bloom. Reminiscent of the Tulipe line created by Dior in 1950, the models became bouquets ready for giving, their hair wrapped in cellophane.

An avalanche of vibrant colors—lilac, turquoise, lime green, red and parrot tulip orange highlighted silhouettes with hyperbolic corollas. Tulle, mohair and organza became organic matter, reproducing 3D petals and delicate vegetal effects to create a fabulous multicolored garden.
