for Louis Vuitton
For Fall/Winter 2010 the Louis Vuitton show centered on the softer side of fashion with a 1950s retro look. Inspired by "hyperfemininity", Marc Jacobs sent out corset-like tops and full corolla skirts. Thick tweed, leather and lace enhanced décolletés and cleavage, further set off by nipped-in waists and ample hips.
This carnal revolution was championed by guest stars celebrating womanly curves, including Laetitia Casta and Elle Macpherson, both dazzling with voluptuous grace. Introduced by the Maison in 1930, the Speedy made a return in updated versions. With nostalgia and inspiration, this collection spoke about a love of women.
