"Melting mode"
at Kenzo

For the Fall/Winter 2010 ready-to-wear collection, Antonio Marras revisited the "melting mode" heritage of free movement for the body and exotic, colorful prints. The artistic director of Kenzo imagined anti-conventional travelers who embody a femininity from "elsewhere", referencing the fundamental values of the House

An explosion of yellow, violet, brick and red tones graced flowing long dresses, paired with oversized jackets. Brazen juxtapositions of fabrics, florals and polka dots plus stripes and graphic motifs combined to create airy, dreamlike patchworks brimming with richly evocative references.
