Fall/Winter 2011 RTW. Continually rewriting the story of Pucci, Peter Dundas dedicates his entire collection to baroque. Young sylphs, straight out of fairytales, revisit the very luxurious atmosphere of Austria, through the precious materials and majestic cuts–dirndl style for the graceful plunging necklines or Tyrolean leather breeches crafted as knickerbockers.
The fitted dresses in dark green and black velvet are embroidered with precious stones or gold threads like jewel cases. Prints with plant patterns slipped into jacquards and laces, shape the silhouettes. The black velvet of a little leg-of-mutton sleeved jacket sparkles like silk taffeta.
