The new Fall/Winter 2012-2013 advertising campaign shot by Jean-Paul Goude perfectly illustrates Kenzo’s repositioning. The regeneration is being led by design duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, who have reconnected with the universe of the brand’s eponymous founder Kenzo Takada.

With a resolutely contemporary and graphic look, the campaign stars models Xiao Wen and Simon Sabbah, both dressed in sweatshirts decorated with an embroidered tiger head. Superposed to form an X, they stand against the backdrop of a giant Kenzo logo in green neon.

A concentrate of inventiveness and technical prowess, the campaign spotlights the brand’s inimitable identity: relaxed and trendy chic. Cosmopolitan and eclectic, with this striking new ad, Carol and Humberto reintroduce us to the trailblazing spirit that defined the brand’s beginnings.
