Each year, La Grande Epicerie celebrates Easter with a fabulous collection of chocolates that blend remarkable skill and creativity. For 2012 the store has teamed up with chocolatier Daniel Mercier, who has crafted an amazing all chocolate bestiary.
From March 19th, the store’s aisles will feature a parade of chicks, rabbits, fish and more decked out in delectable polka dots, plaid and stripes. The limited collection has been made in just ten copies of each piece. The head pastry chef of La Grande Epicerie has added to the assortment with an equally amazing cake called “Les pois sont rouges”, with little red “peas” immersed in a sea of chocolate.
Other chocolate delights include a selection of bookmarks and a chocolate sauce inspired by a recipe from Massachusetts for a very happy and yummy Easter!
