LVMH patron of Yves Klein exhibition
Sponsored by LVMH, the Yves Klein exhibition at the Pompidou Center in Paris until February 5, 2007, presents the work of the artist through a trilogy of colors—blue, gold and pink. Over 140 paintings and sculptures are on display, along with 80 drawings, letters, manuscripts and videos.
The exhibition is structured by the conceptual themes of "Impregnation", "Dematerialization" and "Incarnation". The diverse array of Yves Klein’s techniques is featured for the first time, from his first monochromes to his paintings of fire and the "living paintbrush", or the "Anthropometries".
