Te Koko 2006, the new Cloudy Bay vintage

An individual expression of the Sauvignon Blanc grape, Te Koko 2006 is the thirteenth Cloudy Bay vintage. The wine comes from New Zealand’s sunny and richly fertile Marlborough province and has a creamy and delicious fruit finish. The nose of jasmine is mixed with citrus and ginger notes.

The name derives from the legend of Kupe, the Polynesian explorer who discovered New Zealand after his boat drifted into the bay called Te-Koko-o-Kupe in his honor by the Maori. The bottle’s label is inspired by their traditional art, depicting a canoe gracefully gliding through the waves of Cloudy Bay .
