Conquest of
the skies

Zenith took advantage of the Baselworld stage to unveil several exceptional chronographs that underline the enduring link between the watchmaker and the history of aviation. As always, performance, precision, the will to reach for the sky and push the limits of achievement are part of the Zenith DNA.

An early pioneer in the adventure of aviation, Zenith quickly became the partner of choice for the men and women who took to the air to conquer the skies. Acknowledged by aircraft makers and professional aviators for its reliability, ruggedness and accuracy, the Pilot collection embodies the glory of those early feats of flying.

Today, Zenith pays homage to Manfred Albrecht von Richthofen, the legendary aviator better known as the Red Baron—a flying ace who distinguished himself in combat by his courage, honor and fair play and famously notched up 80 victories in his bright red-painted Fokker Dr.I Triplane.

As befits the legendary air ace who inspired it, the Pilot Montre d’Aéronef Type 20 GMT Red Baron, produced in a 500-piece limited edition, is unsinkable. Made in black DLC-coated titanium and fitted with an overstitched black leather strap, this model is distinguished by its red GMT marking and its caseback medallion depicting the eye-catching triplane in which its namesake made history.
