During the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Fendi presented a series of performance art pieces that fused fashion and design. The 750-square-meter Spazio Fendi-generally reserved to runway shows-was transformed into a platform where ten young designers from around the world could express their vision.

Fendi challenged them to create their works using materials discarded by the Fendi production workshop in Florence: cuttings of fabric and leather, plastic and metal elements. Then, the designers were challenged to show their creative process live, as their works evolved for 3 days before the watchful eyes of visitors.
