Kenzo revisits “Jungle Jap”

Kenzo design duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon revisit the codes that inspired Kenzo Takada’s celebrated “Jungle Jap” fashion spirit. Men in shorts and panther print shirts freeze in sculptural poses on tatami mats like a life-size Tetris game, projecting a resolutely sportswear look for Kenzo.

The sophistication of the collection comes through in an eclectic mix of outfits and the dynamic patterns. Tiger and panther prints join elegant weaves to create a new Kenzo camouflage. In true jungle-safari spirit, shirts, tees or trench coats are customizable and reversible. They fuse with suits for a fluid, relaxed silhouette.
