reated for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer fashion show, the Monogram Multicolore Franges line is inspired by the stage costumes worn by the King and the colors of the American South.
We’re going to Graceland, under a blazing sun. For the Spring-Summer show Marc Jacobs took the road to Memphis, drawing inspiration from Elvis Presley's stage costumes. He reinterpreted the Monogram Multicolore canvas, decorating it with vividly colored suede fringes. Colorful fringes in yellow, blue, orange, fuchsia and violet twist and turn on the Multicolore bags.
From Rock ‘n’ roll to Indian dance, Marc Jacobs followed iconic American themes for the spirit of his ready-to-wear collection. The fringe on the bags is decorated with blown glass pearls with shimmering hints of gold, LV charms and rhinestone flowers.
The new line features three models. Two classic forms – Bucket and Speedy – are available in black and white Multicolore. A new model, the Demi-Lune, is only available in white.
The new Monogram Multicolore Franges line is on sale in the Louis Vuitton stores.
