ith its chic, relaxed, contemporary elegance, the Lockit, from the moment of its incarnation looks like being a classic. A revised version of a handbag first created in the 50’s, its modern but timeless shape immediately puts it at the forefront of Louis Vuitton creations.

The taut flared lines are softened thanks to a rounded zip opening, and as the name indicates, culminate in a lock-down fastening designed to protect the contents. Its original vocation, offering a glimpse of the universe of travel, is now transformed into a very feminine casket.

The Lockit is available in three sizes and adaptable for all occasions, in Monogram leather as well as in Suhali or Nomade leathers. Originally a natural-coloured cowhide, the Nomade leather’s characteristic coppery caramel tone has been achieved through the patient application of vegetal tannins. The hides are specifically treated so that their patina improves with time.

A further chic and discreet personalization is available: in certain Louis Vuitton shops, initials can be embossed on this Nomade leather on request.
