n 1997 Silvia Venturini Fendi imagined a bag with sleekly linear, geometric lines designed so it could also be carried under the arm. She named it Le Baguette.
Ten years later, Fendi is celebrating the anniversary of a bag that has become a true icon. Ten years of imagination, creativity and bright colors for a bag that is revisited each season, with over a thousand different versions produced….
In crocodile, lizard skin, denim, mink, pony skin…embroidered with pearls, beading, sequins, gold thread…these bags are little works of art, as creatively playful as they are irresistible, awakening the inner collector in every woman!
The Baguette was the first bag treated as a piece of clothing, designed to be carried on the shoulder, as a clutch (thanks to a removable strap), or even across the chest for the large versions. Adding an impertinent take, Fendi also offers a "night & day" version, with one side for evening wear and the other in destructured worn leather for the city, a true split personality down to the least detail, including a reversible strap.
The Anniversary Collection presents ten new models in intense, pure colors.

Plus, Silvia Venturini Fendi has added a blank white canvas version that comes with a set of Pantone coloring pens to let women tap their hidden artistic talent and truly personalize their bag. The made-to-order bag is packaged in a wooden box.
In this same playful mood there is also a limited edition of ten mini Bearbricks, in the Anniversary edition colors and decked out in the "double F" logo. The Bearbricks are featured in Fendi store windows along side the brand's emblematic bags.
