Frédéric Cuménal is appointed President of Moët & Chandon

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world’s leading luxury products Group, announces the appointment of Frédéric Cuménal as President of Moët & Chandon, starting January 2004.

A graduate of Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, ESSEC and Harvard Business School, Frédéric Cuménal has been President of Domaine Chandon California in Napa - a vineyard and winery founded by Moët & Chandon - since September 1999.

Frédéric Cuménal began his career in Marketing and Sales at Procter & Gamble, and worked subsequently for Lesieur and Mars.

He joined LVMH in 1995 as European Director of Moët & Chandon, then was Managing Director of Moët Hennessy Europe from 1996 until 1999.

Christophe Navarre, President of Moët Hennessy, declared, "Frédéric Cuménal's mission will be to pursue the development and to strengthen the leadership of Moët & Chandon and Dom Pérignon - star brands of our portfolio."
