BUILDING SOLID AND PASSIONATE TEAMS

Thanks to clear vision and perfect knowledge of the Group’s businesses, they can help our employees to fulfill their professional aspirations, and provide them with the best career development resources.

The priority for LVMH Human Resources is to build strong, creative and passionate teams and developing their skills through an ambitious program based on two strong levers: training and mobility.

CAPITALIZING ON THE WEALTH OF OUR ECOSYSTEM

Our richly varied ecosystem, with a wide range of Houses, métiers and geographic locations, offers each member of the Group unrivaled career opportunities. Annually, 2,700 managers benefit from mobility within the Group, and this figure has risen steadily in recent years. All managerial roles are concerned: for example, ¾ of general management positions are filled through internal promotions.

Whether geographic or functional, internal mobility is an important element in attracting and keeping talent. For employees, job mobility is a source of professional and personal fulfillment, an opportunity to develop new skills, broaden experience and cultivate professional networks.

ENCOURAGING EMPLOYEES TO BE THEIR OWN CAREER DRIVERS

Curiosity, an open mind and a strong desire to progress within the organization are decisive to successful job changes. While people play the lead role in their professional development, the success of a new assignment is the fruit of a collaborative effort involving the employee, his or her manager, and Human Resources.

LVMH deploys significant resources to promote and facilitate mobility: Human Resources and operational mobility committees, career interviews, the “job posting” platform on the Group Intranet, and more. This exchange of talents between companies continually brings the Group fresh energy and creativity, enriching our pool of competencies.

TRAINING FOR DEVELOPMENT

Each employee’s training program is viewed as a strategic tool which enhances his or her performance at a key time in a key job. LVMH actively supports its employees’ professional development by offering training and development opportunities at Group, regional and company level, in accordance with their needs.

The Group organizes its training offer into two core areas: enhancing cross-disciplinary and strategic skills, and essential ingredients for its current and future leaders. LVMH also seeks to raise awareness of the Group and its ecosystem by emphasizing our five values: innovation and creativity, the excellence of products and services, brand image enhancement, entrepreneurship, and wanting to be the best at everything we do.

The Houses also offer specific job or management training, or training in products and services. They draw on their own cultures, conventions and skills.
