Pierre-Yves Roussel was born in France on November 7, 1965.
After obtaining an MBA from Wharton Business School, he began his career as an analyst with the CCF bank before joining the consulting firm McKinsey & Company in 1990. He was elected Partner in 1998, and then appointed to the senior partnership board of the Firm in 2004.
Pierre-Yves Roussel joined LVMH in 2004 as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Operations.
In 2006, he was named Chairman and CEO of the Fashion Group, which includes numerous prestigious brands (Céline, Givenchy, Kenzo, Loewe, Marc Jacobs, Emilio Pucci, Nicholas Kirkwood, Rossimoda…).
In 2018, he was appointed Special Advisor to Bernard Arnault.
He is a member of the LVMH Executive Committee since 2004.
