Position

Reporting to the Director of Retail Training, the Regional Training Manager is responsible for organizing and delivering different training programs to support the success of the Fendi America’s retail network. Through in-store, virtual and classroom training settings, this role will be responsible for coaching and developing our store teams. The Regional Training Manager works closely with other business units to enhance learning impact and to proactively react to the challenges and opportunities in the business. 

Job Responsibilities:

•    Ensure the full execution of the Fendi Americas Retail Training programs for the retail population
•    Proactively create training materials for the retail network based on market initiatives, business priorities and individual needs
•    Coordinate and/or facilitate in-store on-boarding to all new team members, partnering with retail management to ensure delivery of necessary information
•    Partner with store and regional management to support specific business objectives of stores/region with daily briefing and learning tools
•    Work with the broader training team to learn and facilitate training modules crafted to support business objectives 
•    Roll-out seasonal e-learning courses and follow up on completion of global and zone initiatives
•    Provide mentorship to store teams to support the improvement of the overall Fendi client experience
•    Support region in creation and implementation of action plans needed to achieve store and individual performance goals
•    Participate in Global Retail Training meetings to acquire new skills and share regional updates
•    Support regional and store-specific initiatives as needed
•    Prioritize administrative responsibilities and ensure individual budget guidelines are met
•    Track, supervise and evaluate the impact of all regional training activities in partnership with the Retail Training Director

Additional information

Qualifications:
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering sales, service, or product training, preferably in Luxury Retail setting
•    Retail sales or management experience 
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for innovation, creativity, and the ability to deliver work with a standard of excellence 
•    Adult learning qualification a plus 
•    Takes initiative and is highly self-motivated
•    Strong presentation, planning and organizational skills
•    Outstanding interpersonal skills
•    Ability to lead and deliver large scale projects across many locations simultaneously 
•    Excel and PowerPoint proficiency in order to run reports, analyze data/KPIs and create training content
•    Ability to work and manage projects independently
•    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with all departments
•    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity
•    Strong organizational and analytical skills. Thrives in fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, and meets tight deadlines with appetite to learn.
•    50% Travel required 
•    Foreign language skills a plus
•    Ability to lift boxes / weight up to 10lbs

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed.
