Position

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Site Merchandising & Production  to enhance online presence and amplify e-commerce growth. You will craft captivating digital narratives and optimize our product offerings to elevate the Louis Vuitton experience online, driving sales across diverse categories, & manage the content of Louis Vuitton’s website, making sure it reflects the brand’s marketing, communications, & merchandising initiatives to provide our clients with a digital experience that is consistent with the brands exceptional standards.

Working alongside our Sr. Director of Digital you will be instrumental in leading the overall digital e-commerce strategy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Digital and Merchandising teams to establish sales targets/ strategies.
  • Play a critical role in managing product launches and supporting key priorities within the LVA Zone by coordinating allocation needs, launch tools, and initial performance feedback.
  • Partner with Category Merchandising teams to develop strategy for visual merchandising on LV.com.
  • Analyze and report on product performance and total web business.
  • Engage actively in buying sessions held in Paris HQ- curating seasonal collections for LVA Digital, including exclusives, pre-orders, and pre-launches.
  • Lead Differentiated Selling in partnership with Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Data & Insights, and Supply Chain, support with monitoring sales to stock performance, raise opportunities to SC/Planning for replenishment and mapping adjustments.
  • Conduct routine website analysis making sure the product is properly organized and showcased on key trafficked pages and PLP’s.

Job responsibilities

Drive Local Digital Merchandising Strategy & Execution

  • Liaise with Central e-Merch team to drive global strategy and ensure accurate delivery of product assets
  • Manage online launch plans for local e-Merch team to support key product initatives; ensuring all launches are optimized and on time
  • Oversee day to day website updates completed in the Content Management System for 3 countries/ 4 locals/ 3 languages.

Manage Product Offer Across all Categories

  • Act as the key contact with all zone merchandising & supply chain teams
  • Identify sales volume and category opportunities, make recommendations regarding optimization of product offer. 
  • Liaise with Supply Chain to ensure stock levels for key investments, peak periods, and client requests. 

Analyze Product & Site Performance 

  • Conduct weekly, monthly & ad hoc business reporting to provide continous insights into business strengths and opportunities and make strategic recommendations to optimize digital activity.
  • Analyze site metrics and develop business cases to support enhancements to improve user experience

Support Digital Team Synergies 

  • Drive campaign planning for commercial periods (holidays, large launches etc)
  • Partner with Digital Performance to build sales projections & track user experience and e-Merch analytics
  • Partner with Digital Marketing to align on product focuses for email, social media, and paid search 
  • Act as the key point of contact for Client Services on product-related topics 

Manage Digital Merchandising Team

  • Oversee the growth and development of direct reports. 
  • Promote and implement best practices across LVA and globally. 

Content 

  • Drive content strategy and publication, including homepage and animations 
  • Oversee production and ensure timely publications on louisvuitton.com websites using the content management system (CMS) 
  • Provides constructive feedback to HQ regarding visuals, pictures, texts, animation usability, etc 
  • Manage digital store location management on LouisVuitton.com and external partner sites
  • Manage mobile apps for Americas Project, manage both new and existing apps for enhancements, translations, UAT
  • Manage the website experience for UI/UX, functionalities, language translations, platforms, browser compatibility
  • Spearhead innovative e-commerce integrations (enhancements, new releases, AB testing) from a local perspective including researching 3rd party vendors, advocating for LVA usability best practices, and sharing with Central best in class competitive examples

Profile

The ideal candidate will be digital savvy and have experience with online content management systems. A solution-oriented, strategic thinker with proven experience driving positive business results across digital marketing campaigns. Must have analytical skills (commercial insights, data analysis, and reporting) Google Analytics knowledge is a plus.

  • Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, PPT) 
  • Sensibility for luxury products/fashion, understanding of luxury codes
  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Working knowledge of interactive design and web usability

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $160,000-$165,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
