Committed to equal opportunity in Seine-Saint-Denis, the LVMH group renews its support for Montfermeil’s “Cultures & Creation” fashion show

As a long-standing partner of Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil through social responsibility initiatives, the LVMH group sponsored the “Cultures & Creation” fashion show for the fourteenth consecutive year, on Saturday May 25.

Created in 2005, this fashion show of amateur designers and models aims to promote and celebrate creativity and diversity of talent. It also gives young talents a chance to engage with the world of fashion and see their work discovered.

The success of this event continues to grow year on year. For its 2024 edition, the fashion show brought together more than 300 participants who created outfits or paraded on the theme of “Sport and Olympism” in front of nearly 2,500 spectators from Seine-Saint-Denis and beyond.

On this occasion, a jury composed of Gabrielle Saint-Genis Rodriguez, President of Guerlain, Isabelle Faggianelli, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Christian Dior Couture, Maurizio Liotti, Industrial Director, Ready-to-Wear at Christian Dior Couture, Olivier Théophile, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at LVMH and Christine Neumeister, Costume director of the Paris Opera, awarded the “CSR Young Talent” prize to Jasmin Hosni Ali, and the “Jeune Espoir” prize to Lily-Rose Martin. The LVMH Group will support the winners in building their career paths.

Guerlain has awarded a “Beauty” prize to Mélissa Coutarel, a young student passioned by the world of make-up. She will have the opportunity to spend a day shadowing a professional makeup artist from Guerlain.

Ahead of the fashion show, several LVMH Maisons gave support to the designers and models: young designers benefited from the advice of artisans during “Couture Masterclasses” organized by Kenzo and DFS, and fabric donations were made by several Maisons (Berluti, Christian Dior Couture and Kenzo). Multi-disciplinary artist Ben DOS, spotted by the Group at the latest “Cultures & Creation” fashion show, taught young models how to walk the runway, take over the space and gain self-confidence during dedicated Masterclasses. Lastly, for their runway début, these one-night models were made up by Guerlain makeup artists.
