November 22nd was the date set for “Inside LVMH”, a first-of-its-kind event during which 220 students had the opportunity to discover 16 Houses belonging to the LVMH group. We look back at an initiative characterized by innovation and interaction!
The 220 students, selected from some of the top higher education institutions in France and Europe following a pitch on innovation, were able to measure its importance to the LVMH group and its Houses thanks to this event and its original format.
The day was organized around three high points.
Small groups of students were given an in-depth introduction to the Houses. Their program included a discovery of the Houses and their métiers, as well as discussions with managers and employees.
Following this, a pitch session was organized at LVMH headquarters in Paris. Each group of students had 1½ minutes to outline their vision of innovation in the luxury sector, drawing inspiration from their morning’s experiences at the Houses.
Finally, Bernard Arnault gave a masterclass, which was opened by Chantal Gaemperle, Group Executive Vice President Human Resources and Synergies, at the Fondation Louis Vuitton. This was followed by a question-and-answer session between Bernard Arnault and the students, then a tour of the exhibition Icons of Modern Art. The Shchukin Collection.
Inside LVMH generated a highly positive response from both the young talents present and the managers and employees of the participating Houses. The format of the day, as well as the experience, material for reflection and enriching exchanges it offered, were all enthusiastically received.
Updates on the event were provided throughout the day on social media by LVMH, its Houses and the participants themselves.
