The celebrated Paris Left Bank department store continues its 2019 lineup of irresistible events with “A Bâbord Toute!” (Ship Ahoy). After welcoming the shopping 3.0 experience with “Geek mais chic”, Le Bon Marché sets a course for the coming summer’s hottest fashion and lifestyle trends. “A Bâbord Toute!”, which runs until June 23rd, includes tempting vacation flavors at La Grande Epicerie de Paris with a large selection of treats redolent of sea and sun.

Shopping is always a unique experience at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. Until June 23rd the iconic department store on rue de Sèvres whets the appetite for travels under sunny skies at every latitude and on every floor. Designed as a fun-seeking stroll, the exhibition “A Bâbord Toute!” (Ship Ahoy) invites visitors to set sail for destinations from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean to Mediterranean ports, luxuriating in Greek style or Hawaiian surfer spirit as they navigate the trends and must-haves of summer 2019.

There are elegant woven baskets by Anya Hindmarch, Breton fisherman’s caps, giant sparkling inflatables, Médecine Douce branded jewelry, Nupié sandals in eye-popping colors, two-piece bathing suits with graphic prints by Mitos, net bags by Staud, Moismont pareos, shawls with bright sunny prints from Ma Poésie, florescent cosmetics by Moon, Go Philo multicolored phone chargers, exotic home décor items, household linen in warm colors, plus exceptional cruise packages from the Ishua travel agency.  The siren call of far-flung climes and vacation is ubiquitous in every tone and every section of the store, with a unique and eclectic selection of clothes, accessories, jewelry and beauty products curated by Le Bon Marché’s own coolhunters.

What’s more, “A Bâbord Toute!” features a range of products created exclusively by brands for Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. Luxury brand Loewe is guest of honor with a 200-square-meter pop-up store presenting its latest collaboration with Spanish island institution Paula’s Ibiza. The capsule collection for women and men blends Bohemian style and contemporary cuts. A personalization space for bags and small leather goods further elevates the shopping experience. The menu of events also includes an ice cream bar by Il Gelato Del Marchese.

Tasty enticements are equally summery at La Grande Epicerie de Paris. Throughout the exhibition the gourmet emporium presents the best of fine foods for great weather, including Orto organic tomatoes from Italy, Frantoio Dellorusso olive oil, Fruidoraix sweet and savory biscuits from Provence or José Gourmet confit vegetables from Portugal. And on the first floor of La Grande Epicerie, the La Table  restaurant proposes a special “summer attitude” menu.
