Louis Vuitton is seeking an Accounting Manager based out of our New York City office that will manage the month and year to date financial reporting, analysis and communication of results with the LVNA and LVM financial teams. This role will manage and support all external audits for assigned companies, perform analysis on inventory variations, gross margin, cash flow and related account balances and activity, and manage the relationship and work performed by local accounting firms. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will develop new accounting processes as necessary and work to improve existing processes and procedures for greater efficiency, accurate and timely reporting.
The Accounting Manager will partner with the Finance team to develop and document efficient and effective controls and processes that are consistent across all companies. This role will also partner with Accounts Payable and Sales Audit to manage their activity, posting and timely account reconciliation, additionally working with LVMH, Internal and Local tax teams on all tax related filings and reports.
We are eager to speak to individuals that have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, holding a CPA is a plus, with a minimum of five years of accounting experience. Working knowledge of SAP, inventory and fixed asset sub-ledgers are a plus, with the ideal candidate also having advanced quantitative, analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel). Additionally, the Accounting Manager will be fluent in Spanish and preferably have retail industry or multinational company experience.
