Position
The position is based in Rome. Working as part of the Woman RTW Team, the candidate will manage multiple design briefs through creative and innovative techniques and will develop the design of the product that will become a prototype for production.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create and develop original Activewear design concepts maintaining the Company identity
- Support the Team in designing and developing active, fitness, denim, outerwear, jersey categories from inception to delivery, including market trend research, inspiration, sketching
- Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs
- Create sketches on Photoshop and Illustrator
- Participate in Collection Briefing and fit sessions
- Assist in developing of samples
Profile
She/he will have the following attributes:
- 3 - 4 years of relevant working experience as Activewear Designer in the luxury industry
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design
- Excellent freehand drawing / sketching skills
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Good knowledge of pattern making
- Awareness of global fashion and market trends and knowledges on technical textiles
- Deadline oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment
Fluent in Italian and English
