Position

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

The Analyst, HR FP&A will be responsible for supporting the Manager, FP&A and HR Leadership in all HR related financial reporting. While creating and reconciling all staff cost reports and budget files, the Analyst will provide critical data to the HR team, North America & HQ Finance teams, as well as LVMH. The Analyst, HR FP&A will own key projects for the HR FP&A team in order to create more user-friendly dashboards, processes and reporting for cross-functional partners. Overseeing the entire HR and Office Services budget along with the Manager, HR FP&A, the Analyst will ensure adherence to overall budgetary requirements.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monthly Reporting

  • Create and maintain key reporting packages for HR including: Turnover, Joiner/Leaver, Syrus HeadCount, Gratis, Status Change Form, Average Fresh Salary, Employee Cost Center, Celebration, and Birthday
  • Reconcile reports and UltiPro for data accuracy
  • Provide LVMH Monthly Headcount Reporting
  • Produce a user-friendly turnover dashboard for HR team as well as for CEO and COO to access on an as needed basis

Staff Cost

  • Generate staff cost budget forecast files for all three budget cycles
  • Maintain live staff cost file in order to bridge budget vs actuals
  • Submit final staff cost landing file to HQ and North America FP&A team
  • Build a New staff cost file and process that is HR & Finance user friendly
  • Construct seasonal employee cost process for forecast spend report, spend tracker and record keeping
  • Form a fringe benefit summary to ensure proper budgeting

Departmental Partnerships

  • Oversee the entire HR & Office Services department budget including, but not limited to, variance report, reconciliation, and reclassification
  • Work in coordination with HR & other cross functional teams to provide headcount reporting
  • Use Microsoft Excel to breakdown and present budget data as well as keep track of active invoices

What you will learn and/or achieve in the first 6 months:

  • Understand staff cost, how to create the staff cost file, and how to use it to present accurate data to Manager, HR FP&A and cross functional teams
  • Refine advanced Microsoft Excel skills to automate processes (Monthly Reporting)
  • Generate a better knowledge of unnecessary costs i.e. late fees/overages/excess spend; identify and cut expenses from the departmental budget.

What you will achieve in 12 months:

  • Develop a full HR FP&A Dashboard that consists of key metrics that can be used to present to executives and employees at various events
  • Achieve a higher understanding of compensation & benefits to further evolve the team and this role
  • Develop relationships with senior level executives in order to ensure a transparent line of communication from HR FP&A team to the executive team (CEO, COO, SVP HR, etc).
  • Implement clear and more efficient business processes for tracking metrics including, but not limited to, headcount, budget, turnover, consultant spend, and training & development finances
  • Present data to HR Team and other cross functional teams in order to maintain full transparency and ensure the correct & accurate interpretation of reporting & analysis

Additional information

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance required
  • One to two years of FP&A experience required
  • Experience working with staff cost preferred
  • Advanced in Excel and UltiPro
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience presenting to and working with senior level executives
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work within strict deadlines
