Provide Operational and Financial support to the Region Finance Director, Region Leadership, as well as Sales and Business Development teams.
Budget & Forecast: 30% of time.
> Work with Region Finance Director and Region Leadership to build Full Year A&P and Overhead budget plan, as part of the overall MHUSA budget process. Types of Spends covered: Local Activation, VAP, SG, POSM, T&E and Meetings. Entire process to be completed in Anaplan.
> Work with Region Finance Director and Region Leadership to build continually evolving Product Allocations and Sales targets by Market/Distributor, as part of the overall MHUSA budget process.
> Identify R&O, suggest boost/mitigation plans to ensure depletions targets are met. Track performance on implementation and update all key stakeholders.
> Ensure clear & efficient communication with Central FP&A and Finance team, as well as Brand teams.
Actual & Profitability: 30% of time.
> Provide Monthly analysis of Regional A&P Spends to date and Balances to go to Regional leadership and New York office teams (Brands, FP&A).
> Track and reconcile/itemize A&P spends through several A&P Dashboards in Anaplan. Manage A&P reallocation among markets as well as facilitate all fund transfers from Brand Teams. Make recommendations, based on analysis, as to how to best utilize A&P funds.
> Provide Local Activation A&P Effectiveness / ROI for key programs within Business Development and Market Manager plans. Make recommendation to leadership on how to best allocate available resources.
> Provide Support to BDM and Sales teams on their Promotional Plans within Anaplan. Track and analyze spends by program ensuring accuracy. Upon completion of a program, work with BDM/MM to reallocate overspends/underspends to other business programs. Submit reclasses when necessary.
> Monthly updates of SG activation and samples budget used by specialists, and reconcile spend vs budget.
> Manage all POSM/VAP use throughout the Region (spend vs budget, ROI, reallocation).
> Manage, track and deliver Overheads (T&E and meetings) budget for the region. Provide monthly analysis to Region Leadership team and all members of the region.
> Manage year end accrual process.
> Process all vendor PO's.
> Maintain PO and Invoice Tracker.
Sales & Allocation Management: 40 % of time.
> Manage all allocated items ensuring quantities are allocated down to the distributor level in SAP.
> Manage all "scarcity" brand sales orders as issues arise.
> Manage Monthly Sales Landing with Operations
> Perform Opening Inventory Reconciliation with all distributors ensuring alignment with MH Biz / Operations.
> Lead bi-weekly / weekly calls with distributors covering all Operations and Inventory items.
> Manage VAP/Giftbox process completely ensuring goods arrive in time for OND period.
> Manage Claims Portal covering returns, transfers, pricing claims from distributors.
Education: Undergraduate Degree in Accounting/ Finance required.
> 5+ years business experience in an Accounting/ Finance Sales leadership role, in a Finance environment and within the US Beverage Alcohol Industry.
> Strong communication skills.
> Solid system skills: SAP & Advanced excel skills required / Anaplan is a plus.
> Must be a highly organized individual who is able to work with limited direction as well as to set and adjust priorities independently. High level of attention to detail and accuracy and strong analytical skills.
> Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles
