Berluti USA is searching for an Assistant Store Manager for the New York Flagship, responsible for the overall management of the store within the leadership of the Store Director. The role will be responsible for managing and developing sales, building highly motivated teams, all store operations and maintaining merchandising standards. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager will develop the store business plans to include marketing and promotional strategies to drive traffic and increase its customer base with emphasis on building the local market.
The Assistant Store Manager will continuously motivate and train the team to meet assigned sales and productivity objectives for all and each product strategy, while demonstrating sales leadership to staff on the selling floor. In addition, this role will provide feedback to both the Country Manager and Merchandiser on product assortments, buying trends and customers' requests. The Assistant Store Manager will also ensure that all human resources policies and procedures are implemented within the store, report weekly quantitative and qualitative business reports to the Country Manager and ensure Berluti standards are always applied and maintained.
We are eager to speak to individuals that possess both a Bachelor of Business Administrations degree and have a minimum three years of managing experience in a luxury retail environment. The Assistant Store Manager will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, be results driven and have excellent communication and networking skills. You will be pragmatic, lead by example and generate trust among subordinates, peers and management. Additionally, fluency in English is required, as well as master of a second language (Spanish, Russian, Arabic or Mandarin are particularly desirable).
