The Associate Director, Integrated Communications will manage the strategy and execution for fresh's North America communications and influencer marketing strategies with measurable outcomes Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, North America, the Associate Director, Integrated Communications will harmonize communications strategies with Global Communications, while also developing market­ specific programs with influencers/Key Opinion Leaders and the editorial community with the ambitions of driving consistent Earned Media Value (EMV) growth and rank, increased consumer engagement and synergize with brand marketing and paid media strategies The Associate Director will manage and mentor a team, while leading and participating in cross-functional teams to achieve measurable results.


  • Develop creative and effective communications strategies that position fresh as a pioneer, natural skincare brand
  • Amplify our brand with impact and reach through earned media, experiential, partnerships and influencers. Work in conjunction with Paid Media team to bring effective synergies and amplification to drive EMV, brand awareness and new customers
  • Proactively develop and foster relationships with editorial community and influencers/content creators to share the brand story, product launches and campaigns to garner engaging branded content and drive EMV
  • Own the ideation and execution of quarterly brand partnerships to increase customer acquisition and brand awareness
  • Build strong working relationships with agents, editorial community, management agencies, influencer networks and vendors
  • Develop influencer outreach strategies including event planning and execution, creative mailings and pitches
  • Liaise with sales and digital team to draw correlations from influencer engagement to sales
  • Proactively seek out new platforms and vendors to aid in developing engagement strategies that meet brand objectives
  • Build and execute amplification strategy to drive meaningful awareness on brand and product collaboration
  • Develop PR strategy on launch activations in partnership with 360 cross functional teams
  • Establish KPl's to track and measure launch and program effectiveness, ensure achievement of ROI

What you will achieve in the first 6 months

  • Develop influencer strategies and appropriate spend allocation for Spring and Fall programs that support brand awareness objectives and maintain top 3 EMV rank
  • Develop structured influencer planning process 6 months out from each campaign launch date  

What you will achieve in 12 months

  • Develop and execute 2021 EMV-driving initiatives, and develop 2022 Integrated Communications strategy and budget
  • Bridge EMV and paid media strategies that partner to drive brand awareness and double new customer acquisition rate


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 8 plus years' experience in Communications, Public Relations and/or related field, and in managing teams
  • Experience in digital analytics and social listening tools, measuring campaign ROI and metrics to support overall influencer strategy
  • Strong influencer and media relationships within the consumer/lifestyle industry
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical skills including Excel and PowerPoint; social platforms; tools including Tribe Dynamics, Octoly, lnfluenster, Dash Hudson
  • Must demonstrate flawless attention to detail, be a team player, multi-tasker and creative thinker
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to work well with a strong network of peers and partners
  • Understanding of financial and operational performance to ensure quality work and budget adherence
