Position

Role & Responsibilities:

This is a critical position in the Regional Financial Planning & Analysis team with geographic coverage across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Regional Financial Planning & Analysis Director, and as a key member of the regional FP&A team, the Associate Financial Controlling Manager will:

- Assist the Regional FP&A Director and Regional CFO in reporting, forecasting, analyzing financial data and coordinating regional processes for Asia Pacific
- Be a strong business partner who acts as a key point of contact for the assigned Markets & Maisons
- Partner with Regional Human Resources & Marketing departments to monitor regional & central costs (Overheads and Advertising & Promotion)
- Support in animating the regional controlling community to promote sharing of information & best practices
- Apply a broad, problem-solving skills and crucial ‘soft skills' to create a well-rounded role while providing value-added services


Profile

Key Selection Criteria:

- A Bachelor or Master's degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in finance controlling
- Proven finance experience and track record gained from multinational companies will be essential
- Excellent time management skills, with an ability to prioritize and plan, and deliver results to tight deadlines and with quality
- Ability to examine and verify financial documents and reports and skill in analyzing and interpreting financial data
- Proficiency with Excel is required. Hyperion Essbase and SAP knowledge is a plus
- Open to engage with different cultures
- Effective communication, verbally and in writing with supervisors and personnel, and aptitude to establish and maintain fruitful working relationships with employees, business partners and company officials
- Pro-active, multi-tasking, able to deal with difficulties and to provide solutions to the management and to stakeholders
- High proficiency in English
