MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

The Associate Manager, Global Creative Operations will facilitate the cross-functional transformation of brand strategy into effective branding and design solutions. Reporting to the Manager, Global Creative Operations, the Associate Manager will be responsible for meeting global marketing and business objectives as well as ensuring headquarters (HQ) design support to our partners in-house and to our local markets around the world. The Associate Manager, Global Creative Operations will manage cross-functional, 360 campaign development for projects falling under a designated product category. As a project manager, the Associate Manager, Global Creative Operations will effectively manage concept and output development, process adherence, and project communications with HQ, local markets, and post-production vendors.

Profile

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage cross-functional collaboration; support stakeholders in driving the look and feel of marketing activity within a designated category
  • Communicate and enforce project timelines; elevate and mitigate risk when appropriate
  • Partner with Project Management team for timeline setting & planning
  • Organize presentation for monthly executive campaign reviews as relevant to owned category
  • Manage category related project budgets and coordinate creative actions with outside vendors. This includes pre-production comping, campaign concept development, photo-shoot planning with the Producer, post production/retouching/video editing and distributing files/match prints to local markets
  • Ensure seamless project transition from design development through design finalization
  • Contribute to identifying process improvement as well as team/organization tools and upgrades
  • Input invoices and manage post-production invoice resolution for owned projects
  • Participate in and lead weekly and monthly meetings with senior leadership, key stakeholders and cross functional partners
  • Maintain a 360 and global mindset throughout each campaign
  • Champion fresh's design-integrated philosophy and brand equity standards

What you will learn and/or achieve in the first 6 months:

  • fresh processes, especially as relevant to design
  • Familiarize yourself with the fresh product portfolio, particularly as related to owned projects/category as well as related production budgets
  • Partner with Shoot Producer and Art Director(s) to support planning of one or two photo shoots related to designated projects
  • Facilitate execution and release of two to three 360 campaigns & activations
  • Gain understanding of how fresh's marketing, copy, packaging, visual merchandising, creative, digital, retail, and education teams interact and collaborate to execute global marketing activities
  • Engaged in ongoing team initiatives to level up creative operations inclusive of workflow & process improvements, communication & info sharing formats, new vendors, and creative project tracking & trafficking

Additional information

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required
  • Three or more years of experience in Creative Services and/or Production required
  • Hands-on design & project management experience
  • Strong understanding of design language and design file formats in addition to color theory, typography & composition required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience presenting to and working with senior level leadership
