MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

The Associate Manager, Global Social Media will support the always-on Global Social Media team in an exhilarating role where strategy meets planning and execution on social initiatives for all markets and channels. The Associate Manager, Global Social Media is responsible for supporting all aspects of the fresh social media strategy - from daily responsibilities supporting our current platforms to long term project support - developing new platforms, increasing community engagement, and developing social commerce revenue streams. This person will be critical to growing fresh's integrated social media strategies that complement the brand's overarching business goals while learning, evaluating, and reacting based on analytics.

The Global Associate Manager of Social Media will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and have strong communication and project management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute social media content for the brand across global channels
  • Collaborate with creative and digital teams for asset approval and delivery on a timely basis
  • Manage global social calendar including scheduling across all platforms and copywriting
  • Develop guidelines for international markets
  • Monitor, analyze and support social media efforts in international markets with daily communication, feedback and strategic support
  • Assist in community management for global platforms
  • Support the development of new and revived owned social media platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
  • Project manage the development of new and engaging content including short form video assets for all social platforms infusing with fresh identity and consumer trends
  • Work with global social and e-commerce teams to further develop social commerce revenue streams
  • Assist in concepting disruptive content and influencer outreach programs that support overall brand awareness as well as key product launches
  • Project manage social programs from conception to implementation on timeline and in budget
  • Stay on the cutting edge of social innovation, including monitoring direct competitors as well as innovative non-beauty trends and best practices
  • Provide competitive, weekly & monthly, and special projects research and reporting

What you will learn (and/or achieve) in the first 6 months:

In the first 6 months the Associate Manager, Global Social media will immerse themselves into the brand ethos including the social expression of fresh. Focusing on content pillars, tone of voice, community engagement, and analytics this person will assist managing global brand content creation and the global social calendar for existing platforms and develop guidelines for the international markets.  

What you will achieve in 12 months:

In the first 12 months, this person will play a pivotal role in expanding the social expression of fresh through development of new platforms/reengagement of existing platforms including TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest with disruptive content from conception to implementation.


Profile

  • At least three years of experience working in social media, influencer marketing, communications, media, or related digital media field; beauty experience a plus
  • Deep understanding of all social platforms from functionality to advertising products
  • Early adopter of social trends with a passion for innovation
  • Creative problem-solver who is solution oriented
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to align internal and external partners
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong copywriting skills with ability to quickly adopt, shift & evolve editorial tone of voice; editorial or copywriting experience mandatory
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate effectiveness of content and programs
  • Strong creative judgement to recognize engaging, and on-brand content (visuals/copy)
  • Well-versed in digital media and social media metrics and monitoring tools (Dash Hudson, Tribe, etc)
  • Proficient technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint and SparkAR
  • Photography, Photoshop & video editing skills a plus
  • Media & advertising skills a plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal/external partners
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Required/Preferred Languages: English, working knowledge of Mandarin or French a plus
