The Brand Education VIE supports the Brand Education team and reports to the Brand Education Director. The VIE will be immersed in the world of Brand Education and assist the team in managing day-to-day activities as well as participating in the development and execution of educational materials, tools, tastings and trainings covering the entire Moët Hennessy USA portfolio.
Our mission is to make each stakeholder of Moet Hennessy a brilliant storyteller and the VIE will support the team as we build a dynamic culture of brand education and knowledge acquisition at the heart of MH business.
Craft Experiences: sales-oriented trainings & materials development to share efficient and impactful educational content
> Fully manage - plan, coordinate and execute - 4 Tasteful Thursday sessions for the corporate office, once a quarter.
> Assist in planning and coordination of MH Induction and WSET 1 Certification, two times a year.
> Coordinate the WSET 2 (digital roll-out, live training supplements)
> Support the ongoing creation and updating of live presentations and training kits
> Support educational training events as needed (including glassware rental, RSVP management, training event coordination, printing and shipping materials, training event set-up and break-down, making travel arrangements, liaising with brand teams to procure product and POS needed for events, creating recaps of events, etc.)
> Assist in management, production and updating of the Quarterly Training Programs (QTPs)
> Propose new ideas and creative builds for our live training sessions
> As a stretch goal, teach at live trainings
> Opportunity to travel to attend Learning & Training conferences
Digital Training: engageMH
Increase engageMH usership
> Work in partnership with the Brand Education Manager on Systems Administration and Reporting
> Assist in management, production, and updating of educational assets on engageMH
> Assist in management of assigned module calendar deployment to our many user groups
> Act as project manager for the development of Phase 2 and 3 of engageMH
> Identify areas to expand and grow engageMH (video creation, training opportunities...)
Strategically increase Brand Education Engagement
> Manage the Brand Education Instagram account: engage.MH. Create and manage a schedule to publish approved educational assets with descriptions to the account.
> Planning and execution of Quarterly Business Meetings (QBRs)
> Weekly management of department Smart Sheet project management tool
> Support the team with management of day-to-day department activities
> Weekly team meeting management including scheduling, securing meeting spaces, ordering team lunches, printing of materials, notetaking, providing recaps, etc..
> Manage printing and shipping of educational materials as needed including portfolio books, tasting mats, holiday cards, etc..
> Bachelor's degree required
> Internship or past work experience within Education/Training role OR Marketing/Sales. Experience in Wines & Spirits a plus but not required.
> Highly skilled in PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Sharepoint - Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus
> Experience with event planning and coordination
> A passion for presenting & training, a love of storytelling and a drive for success
> Ability to deal with ambiguity and continual change in a calm manner
> Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
> Cross functional team player with a proactive mindset
> Organized and efficient with time management
> A sense of humor
Based in NYC
Start on May 2019 for 18 months
