Position

The Brand GM will be responsible for setting the strategy for the UK business, identifying new
opportunities within the market and achieving profit objectives in all channels (shops, department
stores, retailers, e commerce)


Profile

  • To evaluate the business's organization, strategy, distribution channels and growth potential
  • To lead the implementation of structure, systems and reporting processes for the marketing, sales, financial and administrative areas of the business, in order to maximize efficiency
  • To create short and long term planning for the advancement of the brands' positioning in the country
  • To present three-year business plans that are in alignment with the company's strategic and financial objectives
  • To manage P&L and cash responsibility within the framework of the company's ongoing initiatives
  • To develop and maintain the profound customer intimacy and local market competitive intelligence required to successfully adapt global strategy to the UK market, while maintaining brand integrity
  • To creatively identify and communicate new opportunities for the brand in the country and to develop plans in collaboration with the HQ to optimally address these prospects
  • To initiate & maintain ongoing communications with HQ regarding all timelines, product requests by retailer and production issues
  • To lead negotiations and to strengthen cooperative partnerships with the retail community
  • To oversee promotional activity and all local campaigns
  • To provide the leadership that will enhance overall company performance and inter-company communications in order to further promote cross functional and cross brand synergies
