Brand Manager - Singapore


Reporting to the APAC Managing Director, you are responsible for the achievement of sales and profitability targets in our retail business in Singapore. You also ensure brand image is uphold at all times with the highest service and operational excellence in the boutiques.

Your main responsibilities are:

Retail Network & Business Development

  • Develop network of external relationships to grow the brand image and drive sale opportunities
  • Maintain informational and working relationships with the proper local authorities and organizations
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the local retail market especially competition and the jewelry business in the region in order to exploit market opportunities


Developing Brand Image (Marketing, Communication & Visual Merchandising)

  • Collaborate closely with the regional marketing & communication team by proposing actions that are specific to the local market
  • Review and endorse defined Marketing & Communications plan including digital marketing to drive brand visibility and desirability in the local market
  • Seek appropriate events and activities to support local marketing initiatives in all boutiques
  • Ensure the implementation of CRM strategies to enhance the customer base in quality and quantity
  • Assist on stock management and high standards of VM in line with corporate guidelines


Retail Management & Boutique Operations

  • Be accountable for the retail P&L of the boutiques
  • Monitor retail and boutiques KPIs providing reports and proposals for improvements
  • Define and implement action plans to develop sales for each product category and clientele segments
  • Monitor boutique daily operation by regular market visit of each location
  • Maintain Retail SOP for all boutiques to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency in all back-office processes and stock management, ensuring the compliance with company guidelines and procedures, respect of health & safety, security, facilities and legal operations
  • Control costs through management of suppliers, contracts, budget, bid negotiations and careful review of all aspects of the boutique cost


Managing the Team

  • Hire, train, evaluate and develop staff in a manner consistent with the Chaumet policies
  • Motivate staff to achieve sales goals, ensuring they have the right tools to achieve their set tasks
  • Maintain effective and regular communication with all staff in order to ensure complete delivery of missions
  • Build and promote a conducive working environment for both new and existing staff
  • Work with Regional Training and HR in the definition of the training plans (brand, products, selling skills) and in the follow-up to ensure progress



  • At least 10 years solid experience in retail operations and currently in managerial position, luxury retail experience and experience in high jewellery business is preferred
  • Good command of written and spoken English + Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Proven good understanding of the Singaporean market
  • Obsessed with retail, numbers and customer experience
  • Strong negotiation skills & inspirational personality to drive projects
  • Very good communicator, team player, energetic and business oriented
