MISSION STATEMENT

The primary role of the Hennessy X.O & MBS Brand Manager is to maximize the performance of these sub-brands within the Hennessy brand franchise; guide and support optimal usage of intra-brand service functions (trade marketing, PR/communications, digital and experiential marketing); drive analytical assessment and budget management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Brand Management & Marketing: 35%
>  Play a key role in successfully managing and growing the business in the US market by conducting quantitative business analysis covering a variety of topics including sales, market trends, competition, consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and developing clear, compelling programs (food pairing, rituals, consumers activations guidelines) that inspire and engage key stakeholders, including senior management, distributors, retailers, and promotional partners.
>  Use marketing expertise to ensure development and execution of strategies and oversee programs to drive brand growth and build image and equity.
>  Work closely with the media agency, Brand Director & Maison for the roll out of the Hennessy X.O advertising campaign.
>  Support Brand Director in the execution of the Hennessy consumer education program.

Strategic Business Planning: 30%
>  Work with Brand Director to develop, create, plan and execute consumer driven brand plans that maximize brand equity, revenue and profit for Hennessy X.O & MBS in the US market.
>  Define strategic brief for creative agencies - based on Regional feedback, market trends and brand identity to develop exciting consumer and trade marketing programs.
>  Create exciting and compelling presentation and tools to ensure internal and external buy-in.
>  Develop and execute brilliantly multicultural consumer programs - in sync with Regions - that support tactical sales initiatives in order to maximize point of purchase volume sales.
>  KPIs to track and measure program effectiveness, ensure reasonable ROI.
>  Lead brand completion of commercial analytics, including monthly reporting and diagnostic assessment of Hennessy X.O. & MBS brand performances and strategic opportunities.

Organization: 20%
>  Become a respected player within MHUSA and work closely with Sales, Distributors and Retail partners to gain input and support to effectively execute commercial plans.
>  Work effectively in Maison / Region matrix organization.
>  Be a brand champion and Brand market expert.
>  Develop product expertise and a strong sense of market dynamics through training, market visits, and frequent customer interactions.

Finance & Operations: 15%
>  Manage and track Advertising & Promotional (A&P) budget, ensure spend is prioritized against brand priorities and relevant growth opportunities.
>  Achieve the budgeted P&L goals for Hennessy as well as successful financial close in collaboration with Brand & Finance teams.


Profile

Education: Undergraduate Degree required

Languages: English, working knowledge of French a plus

Experience and Skills:
6-8 years brand marketing experience in consumer goods or/and luxury environment in the US. Maison's experience or similar experience is a plus.
Strong leadership and communications skills.
Experience working in partnership with Sales required.
Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, Attention to details and execution.
