We are currently looking for a Brand Manager in Hong Kong Office. The position will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing programs, focusing on driving the company brand's presence and business in Hong Kong and Macao.  The Brand Manager will be responsible for delivering creative plans and activations, managing associated A&P budgets, and ensuring the financial objectives (volume, revenue and profit) are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define clear, concise and creative brand strategies to drive awareness, profitability and market share through developing brand and product expertise, and a strong sense of market dynamics through training, market visits, and frequent customer interactions
  • Leverage business analysis including sales, market trends, competition, consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth
  • Ensure the successful implementation of all activations, events, and product launches by developing the necessary marketing guidelines, materials, and sales tools in line with brand strategy
  • Set channel objectives in collaboration with the sales team and business planning team
  • Manage all POSM development, purchasing and reconciliation
  • Understand and utilize different digital platforms and technologies to strengthen the brand activations
  • Establish contacts with key press and KOLs in co-ordination with PR agencies, to achieve press & media coverage and partner with external agencies as necessary for development of tools and implementation of programs
  • Act as Brand Ambassador for consumer events and/or trade training
  • Monitor KPIs of marketing programs and evaluate effectiveness to pursue continuous brand development
  • Manage and track A&P budget, ensuring spend is prioritized against brand priorities and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with Supply Team in managing sales forecasting, ensuring product availability, inventory ageing, and avoiding out of stock situations
  • Ensure financial objectives for all brands are met by closely monitoring volume, NSI, FTT, A&P and CTP

Profile

Language

  • Full written and spoken proficiency in English; Cantonese language skills is plus

Professional experience & know how

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience gained from companies with organizational complexity and multicultural business environment
  • Possessing industry experience in Branding, Luxury Goods, Hospitality, Entertainment or FMCG will be highly desirable
  • Knowledge or interest in wines & spirits. WSET 2 or equivalent is a plus

Technical & management skills

  • Brand management and marketing management experience from consumer goods/luxury goods environment including above-the line, below-the-line, digital and new product launch experience
  • Good commercial sense
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Digital savvy
