Mission Statement The business analyst will support and assist the Managing Director with data insights, learnings and research analysis to nurture and drive informed and pragmatic business decisions. The position holder will be in charge of processing and interpreting the data collected from different sources into concrete business actions.
> Acquire data from different data sources and interpret it, analyze results using statistical techniques when relevant and provide ongoing reports. > Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements. > Create briefs, conduct market and distribution analysis, opportunity studies and business cases (incl. ROI, SWOTs) to launch new initiatives adhering to the business priorities and strategy and understanding execution constraints. > Conduct rate of sales per channel analysis > Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets > Develop and support reporting processes > Monitor and audit data quality > Design and carry out surveys and analyze survey data > Create data dashboards, graphs and business presentations.
The candidate must have outstanding analytical skills to interpret the business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. The role requires strong data management and data analysis skills as the platform to deliver strong business growth. > Post-Graduate from a University of repute with a Major in Marketing > 1-3 years of experience in business analysis in a consulting company or MNC > The ability to analyse, model and interpret data > Excellent skills with Microsoft Office tools - Excel and Powerpoint > Creative thinker with great solution orientation > Self-starter - someone who can manage the task from start to finish with minimal intervention > Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
