Position

The Cash Analyst will be welcomed among the regional Finance team for Parfums Christian Dior Orient (PCDO). PCDO manages an area of 36 countries in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and India, with subsidiaries and agents' structures, as well as 5 brands : Parfums Christian Dior, Make Up for Ever, Loewe, Acqua Di Parma and Benefit Cosmetics.

He / She will report to the Chief Financial Officer for Parfums Christian Dior and will be responsible for the company's treasury operations with a short/mid/long terms vision. He is responsible for the cash flow good standing of the Company (regional role) with a lead on cash anticipation, budgets and action plans related.

The Cash Analyst will work on :

1)  Cash Management

  • Monitor the cash position of all banks accounts to ensure that cash balances are optimized to minimize financial fees and risks
  • Monitor the cash flow on a short/mid/long term
  • Supervise and optimize the cash management of our retail network (implementation of most appropriate means of payment, petty cash control)

2) Reporting & Analysis

  • Responsible for LVMH Cash reports (monthly, budget processes) and deeply analyses and report variances versus pre-defined expectations
  • Assist in preparation of monthly management reports and be in charge of detailed regional consolidated cash flow analysis
  • Sign-off bank reconciliations done by accounting team

3) Banking Operations

  • Implement the optimized banking set-up defined with the management (including set-up for retail network)
  • Follow up and manage all the banks accounts
  • Administer letter of credits and letter of guarantees
  • Negotiate and maintain banking relationships
  • Manage and follow up bank commissions, charges and interests
  • Manage and optimize our multi-currencies cash-flows, monitoring bank positions by currency and FX impacts

4) Receivables Management

  • Prepare action plan and follow up on collection of dues and over dues from customers
  • Achieve the monthly cash-collection targets set as per the objectives and targets of the company
  • Follow systematic credit control procedures
  • Communicate payment delays to sales department to hold deliveries and services

5) Payables Management

  • Supervise and optimize the current payment process of the Company (speed and security)
  • Responsible for the timely payment of all vendor liabilities

Profile

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance & Controlling, and a minimum of 3 years of experience, with proficiency in all aspects of Accounting - Finance
  • Very Proficient user of the MS Office package
  • Fluent in English is mandatory; French and Arabic can be a significant advantage but is not compulsory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Meticulous, detail oriented and well organized, capable to handle multiple priorities and multi-tasking while respecting deadlines
  • Proficient knowledge of financial statements ; experience in ERP and other finance reporting tools is appreciated
  • Previous experiences in the Middle East and/or the Cosmetics / Luxury industry are an advantage
