As City Manager you will be responsible for overall management of the store(s) network and develop the Fendi business in Thailand market.

You will lead and manage the team to work towards achieving the sales objectives, store profitability goals, achieving and maintaining high operational and merchandising standards, building highly motivated team in Fendi Thailand.

You will be reporting to our Senior Retail Operations Manager, SEA & Australia.



1. Business management & development

  • Monitor sales performance versus the budget/targets and take necessary actions accordingly
  • Develop and implement commercial action plans to grow the business e.g. targeting clientele categories (local/VIP/tourists), incentive programs, slow movers etc.
  • Monitor local trading environment and trends, including competition, tourism, consumer trends
  • Provide inputs for OTB, liaise with merchandising team on buying and provide for product development
  • Work closely with the Business Planning Department to provide inputs related to sales forecast, headcount requirements, financial requirements, etc., for budgeting and investment planning purposes
  • Develop the brand's business by identifying potential locations for new stores and provide analysis of potential markets/profitability

2. Team Management

  • Communicate vision, strategy and clear directions to retail staff
  • Structure the organization of retail activity and allocate responsibilities
  • Ensure adequate staffing through recruitment, rotation, mobility, training and development
  • Motivate, drive, inform and actively coordinate retail teams
  • Monitor sales team performance
  • Work closely with the HR/Training team to ensure proper training of sales staff and excellent customer service

3. Store network

  • Propose layout adjustments as needed to ensure commercial efficiency
  • Manage existing store network projects: expansion, renovation, relocation, closure, etc.

4. Local Brand Image

  • Actively promote the brand in the local market
  • Implement local marketing, customer relation/VIP strategies to promote the brand's image
  • Nurture relationship with business community and competition
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to provide input and implement local marketing projects
  • Keep abreast of counterfeits activities in the market and provide regular feedback/information to the Anticounterfeiting Department
  • Work closely with the Marketing & Communication Manager and the Regional Marketing & Communication Department   to provide input and implement local marketing projects

5. Retail Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the stores and solve unresolved operational issues
  • Uphold retail excellence standards and consistency of customer service;
  • Ensure that the highest standard of housekeeping on and off the sales floor are always maintained
  • Provide necessary resources and support to stores
  • Control costs for optimum effectiveness of operations
  • Plan and take necessary steps to have optimum stock levels and minimize inventory discrepancies
  • Implement and support all security measures
  • Investigate and report on any occurrence outside normal events
  • Work closely with the Merchandising Department to ensure that the highest standard of merchandising is always maintained

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of related managerial experience in high end luxury industry
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Hands on brand management
  • Strong in commercial and customer service mindset
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills
  • Ability to generate trust among both coworkers and clients
  • Strong business acumen, result driven, goal oriented, capacity to implement all needed initiatives and demonstrate commercial creativity
  • Proficient in MS office, CRM and retail tools
