Main Responsibilities:

Develop & implement Clos19 Strategy in accordance to brand and sales guidelines of both, Moët Hennessy UK and Clos19 Global:

Manage Financial Performance

  • Lead the local budget, LE1, LE2 and financial forecast performance of Clos19 with support from local finance and Clos19 finance teams)
  • Responsible to deliver the financial performance targets including top-line sales, and bottom line paying particular attention to distribution and A&P costs
  • Responsible to analyze local business performance utilizing Clos19 insight tools such as Tableau and GA
  • Oversee the local processing of budgets (A&P) invoice payment and actuals follow up

Business Development

  • Lead the prospecting of new Clos19 business opportunities e.g. Corporate partnerships such as referral programs, gift cards, pop up stores
  • Work through the entire business development process from proposal to agreement
  • Manage launch and yearlong activation of new partnerships and business activity on Clos19 Follow ROI and partnership evaluation
  • Grow relationships and form partnerships to bring new revenue streams to Clos19 UK

Assortment Management

  • Forecasting sales at SKU level on a monthly basis
  • Pricing strategy & lead RSP pricing definition, regular analysis of Clos19 pricing vs competitors
  • Develop local brand experiences content, pricing & event guidelines (e.g. Moet Grand Day) working closely with Clos19 Central Content team to launch on Clos19 website
  • Responsible for ordering Clos19 packaging, accessories and VAP's

Consumer Experience/Operations

  • Local point of contact for any consumer care escalation needs
  • Manage local 3PL partner in terms of SLA's (in collaboration with local Supply Chain Manager and Clos19 Central Operations Manager), regular auditing of delivery experience Responsible for stock management (in collaboration with local Supply Chain Manager and Clos19 Central Operations Manager) to be sure the correct level of stock is always held to secure seamless delivery

Marketing & PR

  • Provide central team with local consumer insights and opportunities
  • Provide central team with local activation opportunities (e.g. Brand activations linked to Clos19)
  • Leverage all brand activations locally (Local marketing & communication campaign and how Clos19 can work with them)
  • Provide central team with feedback on the activation plan and the weekly newsletters
  • Budget: Local implementation and payments of central A&P strategy

Clos19 Product Development: Proposals to Clos19 Central team

  • Propose ideas to improve Clos19 site, based on local pain points, competitor analysis, consumer feedback etc
  • Propose new personalisation offers, specific services, and experiences

Interface Management (internal & external stakeholders):

  • Coordinate projects & processes with internal operation departments (Customer Service, Logistics, Controlling & Finance)
  • Align closely with Digital Manager and Marketing team


Qualification & Experience:

Education:  University Degree


  • English
  • French preferable
  • Other foreign language a plus

Professional experience & know-how:

  • 5 years of profound E-Commerce experience in relevant industry
  • Experience in web, mobile and social commerce, driving performance of a digital business and digital business development. Knowledge of digital marketing (including SEO, PPC, email, social) and digital customer retention (CRM)

Moët Hennessy UK has relaunched its Direct Consumer Online Business in May 2017 and now operates a local online shop under the brand within a global framework and team. is the online retail expression for wines and spirits within LVMH offering an exclusive entry into the world of our champagnes, wines and spirits portfolio to consumers.

At a local level, the Clos 19 e-Commerce team sits as part of the e-Retail team in the Off-Trade division. It has an exciting challenge ahead, with a broad set of objectives as part of its remit. You will benefit from a global team of e-Commerce and CRM experts who bring various and complementary skills to jointly create industry-leading e-Commerce experiences and activations. In this role, you report directly to the e-Business Manager for the UK.

 In this role, you will be responsible for the daily running of the Clos19 UK business. You will be directly responsible for new business development and new routes to market alongside continued financial success. You will manage a team of two, an e-Commerce Executive and an e-Commerce Intern, to locally adapt and deploy the strategy set by the global Clos19 team.

  1. Fully responsible for the business unit Clos19 online-store in the UK: Local lead/head of online-store, maintaining and growing the business, ensuring proper sales development in conjunction with expansion and evolution of Clos19 platform as the retail expression of Moët Hennessy in the UK
  2. Responsible for the development, implementation, and improvement of Moet Hennessy's Global Direct to Consumer E-Commerce strategy, according to Global Guidelines as well as in line with Marketing & Sales strategies, always interacting closely with global & local Clos19 teams
