Position

To be responsible in directing the efforts of the Sales team towards implementation of agreed Brand strategies & Sales plans to achieve the highest standards in the areas of sales, merchandising, promotions & other related activities as well as contributing to the formulation of annual budgets, corporate & Brand Plans & company policies, with the purpose to achieve sales, revenue & brand share objectives

  1. Ensure achievement of sales volume & revenue objectives for key brands
  2. Manage the sales/development of the On- & Off-Trade business, Corporate sales & supervise the sales expansion in Vietnam
  3. Make recommendations & be responsible towards the development of strategic sales strategies & sales plans which includes distribution, promotion & merchandising  management in existing & potential markets
  4. Assist the Managing Director in exploring & assessing new business/channels opportunities and developing company business strategy in an effective manner
  5. Ensure listing/distribution & pricing objectives are achieved in all key channels
  6. Continuously work on strengthening relationships with the trade, e.g. Wholesalers, sub-Wholesalers, partnership shops & On-Trade outlets
  7. Closely monitor changes or developments in competitors' organization & activities, e.g. pricing, promotional activities, etc.  & recommend appropriate strategic responses
  8. Drive the business planning/forecasting for the next 5-years' Plans for MHVD in an effective manner & lead implementation of sales distribution projects (e.g. T@RGET)
  9. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends & technical development that can have impact/effects on target market/ channel
  10. Maximize MHVD's best interests in the Trade via effectively utilizing Trade Development fund/FTT
  11. Manage, control & minimise all operational costs & expenses

Profile

  • University graduate major in Business/ marketing or related discipline
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese
  • Minimum 10 years commercial and marketing experience with an international FMCG.
  • Supervisory and management experience with MNCs.
  • Thorough understanding of FMCG industry. Experience with imported wines and spirits would be a plus
  • Knowledge

    • Knowledge with wines & spirits is advantage
    • Good understanding of large brand business
    • Thorough understanding of FMCG/drinks industry
    • Full understanding of modern selling and training techniques
