Position

MISSION STATEMENT

To craft exceptional experiences and stories for the Moet Hennessy portfolio of Maisons delivered across classic PR, events, digital, social media and influencer strategy ensuring our brands sit at the heart of relevant culture.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

What

  • To deliver the company vision of ‘Crafting Experiences' and to visualise the experiences and bring to life and deliver the brand promise through a network of Brand Team, influencer, media and support agencies
  • To think focus on creating the memorable experiences beyond a product feature to engage the consumers' desires through associations with the brand and to deliver memorable messages through all channels touching the consumer.
  • To exhibit a creative vision to deliver stories in harmony with brand's DNA and business objectives
  • To lead and inspire the Communications Team to build the relevant positioning and to fuel desire for our Maisons in the UK market

How

  • Be the brand positioning lever and cultural barometer
  • Deliver strong and consistent comms strategies across the brands whilst ensuring portfolio consistency and leveraging synergies
  • Demonstrate creative autonomy in line with brand DNA and brand objectives across all communications platforms
  • In agreement with the brand teams, define and communicate the comms related priorities for the brands
  • Deliver with the brand teams internal communications strategies to equip key stakeholders with clear understanding of our brands newsworthiness (sales and management teams)
  • Manage internal co-ordination and planning of the communication team and its position in supporting the brand teams
  • Build and deliver thought leadership communications strategies to nurture image and influence of Moet Hennessy UK in the super premium category

External Engagement to support delivery

  • Connect brands to the most influential and relevant people and create an inviting and alluring joyful want to be part of our world
  • Lead the strategy for external communications agencies and be the key stakeholder for external/internal management with flair and inspiration
  • Lead and develop a clear influencer strategy for MHUK which engenders excitement and a desire of this group to become part of the vision
  • Support events coordination and amplification across all brands with brand teams and external agencies
  • Being a key stakeholder for external liaison with Portman Group, DrinkAware, CAP and support MD on all public affairs issues with MH Paris

Team Inspiration development and motivation to deliver the dream

  • 4 team members
  • Establish a strong team culture and vision through creating an inclusive inspiring group, key partner to the brand teams in setting strategic ambitions for our portfolio
  • Consistently develop a culture of result/WIS (WHAT IS SUCCESS) - deliver and present KPIs in line with brand and Senior Management expectation that are realised and motivate teams and partners
  • Lead and develop team ensuring individual development plans and objectives are nurtured in line with LVMH values

  • Degree Level
  • Fluent in English
  • French would be an asset
  • Luxury / cultural industry with a strong senior management expertise

  • Professionally connected with a strong ‘black book'
  • Strong understanding and passion for cultural trends and creative industries
  • Media savvy - demonstrate a clear understanding of the rapidly changing media and digital environment
  • Fully proficient in all aspects of communications and PR
  • Develop technical knowledge of wines and spirits to support decision making and assurance there is a specific appreciation of how to manage each brand personality
