The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. The Retail Operations & Communications Trainee is responsible for driving strategic alignment between the Boutiques and Corporate Office through clear, consistent, and streamlined Communications processes. The mission of the Operations team is to drive Boutique Manager focus to the client and the associate through reducing, simplifying, and standardizing process, while optimizing business performance. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization's short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results, and present plans to Executive Leadership Team.



  • Utilize Communications Tool, DiorNOW, to provide effective communications and workload for Boutiques, including weekly updates, store tasks, and calendar planning
    • Provide analytics to measure, and report compliance
  • Coordinate with all Corporate Departments to support holistic and streamlined Communication flow from the Corporate Office to Boutiques
  • Update and publish Weekly Newsletter
  • Maintain Corporate Master Calendar of Retail and Corporate Events
  • Help manage the Corporate "Voice" across all internal Communications vehicles
  • Ensure all Content is aligned with company objectives and optimized for target audience
  • Partner with Boutiques to understand and address key issues and concerns from the field in order to better align efforts around performance
  • Maintain Operations and Retail Performance intranet sites
  • Research market tools and competitor analysis
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed



  • Must be available M-F, 9-6pm
  • Strong communications skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent follow-through practices
  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must have an extremely strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills and prioritization with the ability to work under specific timelines and fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of retail math and basic analytics 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain processes
  • Background in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Merchandising preferably in Luxury Retail environment
  • Design/Graphics background strongly preferred with experience in relevant applications (i.e. Photoshop)
