Position

MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE

Acting as a Brand Ambassador for Celine this role has responsibility for the day to day running of the Concession. To run and operate an efficient store which represents the Celine brand image and delivers world class customer service. The role requires someone who can drive and maximize Celine business performance by coaching and motivating the concession team while developing a strong client base.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Brand Ambassador
>  Excite and instill passion and pride for the Celine brand
>  Embody the Brand image for customers and the store team and have a strong understanding of the brand DNA
>  Lead by example in demonstrating role model behaviour that is representative of the Celine brand.
>  Ensure standards for quality of selling ceremony, customer service and grooming are maintained and consistent with brand requirements.

General Store VM
>  Implement and maintain all visual guidelines
>  Maintain store standards that reflect the brand image
>  Enhance service standards in store to ensure world class service is always delivered

Client Development
>  Develop a true client and service centric mindset within the team
>  Drive the utilisation of client books and aftersales care to ensure loyalty with our existing clients
>  Propose & animate in-store clienteling actions (previews, events,...)
>  Be proactive outside the Boutique by increasing customer flow and developing local network
>  Work with Selfridges personal shopping department

Sales/ Business Monitoring
>  Manage stock levels in the concession and making sure sufficient stock is available
>  Ensure stock loss is minimised by conducting weekly rotative inventories and bi-annual stock takes
>  Liaise with the Northern Europe Retail Manager to set sales and KPI targets for the team
>  Keep up to date of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing
>  Monitor sales performance, analyse results and forecast trends to propose commercial action plans to maximise sales and minimise costs.
>  Lead the Concession with full profit and loss responsibility

Team Management/ Back Office
>  Conduct full bi-annual appraisals and monthly catch-ups with the team and communicate clear objectives to them
>  Identify personal development needs to tailor individual training plans, secure succession planning
>  Work with UK HR on recruitment, organisation of training and general HR issues
>  Coaching, training and developing the sales team to ensure KPI and sales targets are achieved
>  Participate in regular managers' meetings with the Celine UK team to share business performance, ideas and best practice
>  Submit weekly reports to the Northern Europe Retail Manager and UK Finance Team
>  Build strong relationships with the Celine Senior team in Paris and HR and Finance in UK


Profile

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Education and Experience

  • Education: to Degree level or above
  • Experience: minimum of 5 years' experience in Luxury Retail, minimum of 3 years' managing people
  • Software: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Good team player and ability to work on own with high levels of motivation
  • Sound knowledge of UK Retail Laws, security and Health and Safety Legislation
