Identify, plan and execute internal and external corporate events to drive brand awareness and loyalty, support luxury positioning and drive sales. Liaise with MHUSA, LVMH and MH Global on Events initiatives.
Program / Event Development & Execution: 50%
> Take leadership role in planning and deliver optimal event experience in executing portfolio events and programs such as the Distributor Conference, Cultural Diversity Conference, and Company Conference, in collaboration with the Corporate Communications resources and transversal departments where appropriate.
> Maximize portfolio visibility in the development of innovative consumer, trade and press event initiatives, including high profile influencer events, charity benefits, award ceremonies, corporate events, and tastings.
> Work with Corporate Communications team in execution of MHUSA Corporate Communications plan.
> Manage various aspects of event planning, including product and POS ordering, signage creation, and on-site management.
> Deliver flawless execution, innovative concepts and consistent brand messaging across the events. Demonstrate an attention to detail and creativity in décor, menu planning and in the execution of beverage service.
> Establish creative methods for generating brand visibility at events.
> Monitor program results and develop qualitative and quantitative program/event wrap-ups to share with internal and external stakeholders
> Ensure events are compliant with internal and external legal guidelines, DISCUS codes and MHUSA procurement department.
Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships: 20%
> Manage the relationship with MHUSA's corporate partners and non-profits.
> Seek out and generate proposals for corporate partners that support the company's values and business objectives
> Evaluate event/product sponsorship opportunities, strategically matching brands to the most appropriate events, while looking to maximize ROI.
Stretching the Business Model: 10%
> Work closely with Centers of Excellence and Experiential agencies to perform online and in field research around trends in innovation and state of the art technology. Based on results, identify new opportunities and areas for expanding the guest's events experience.
> Work to determine ways to link event programming back to sales to generate greater ROI.
Communications (Internal & External): 10%
> Maintain day-to-day written and verbal communication with Corporate Communications team. This includes providing regular updates for assigned programs, obtaining approvals when necessary, issuing budget updates, and discussing additional opportunities and key learnings.
> Align with Communications Manager to ensure coherence across activity and identify ATL Communication opportunities.
> Work closely with appropriate transversal teams and key stakeholders, to ensure assigned events maximize PR and digital potential with agreed audiences.
> Ensure appropriate parties are informed of events and communications initiatives involving brand teams, sales, MH Global and LVMH as appropriate.
Agency & Vendor Management: 10%
> Craft briefs and manage outside agencies and vendors on execution of events and collateral design.
> Coordinate the execution of events with brand teams, executive team, sales, and regions, as appropriate.
> Develop working relationships with top event vendors and accounts, as well as event planners, mixologists, caterers, florists, venue managers, entertainment, etc.
Education : Undergraduate Degree required
Languages : English
Professional experience & skills: 5+ years' experience in events planning preferably in the luxury goods industry.
> Highly organized individual, who is able to work with limited direction, and with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy;
> Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
> Proven track record of strategic event planning demonstrating innovative use of technology, creativity and passion.
> Strong organizational and project management skills.
> Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and able to adapt to various work styles.
> Must be open to domestic travel. Experience working within the beverage alcohol & three -tier system is a plus
