As a key contributor in supporting rapidly growing market needs, ensure product availability and stock optimization through efficient demand and distribution planning. In close collaboration with Merchandising teams, the Demand & Distribution Planner will be in charge of forecasting and business planning on a particular product segment, as well as product allocation and day-to-day distribution.



1. Monthly forecast review and demand planning for product categories in your scope:

  • Review forecast for seasonal and permanent products based on the performance
  • Ensure alignment between current and future seasonal buys and sales projections in forecasting tool
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Retail Planning team in reaching alignment on global Americas sales plans by category
  • Collaborate with E-commerce team on product forecasting for e-commerce and sales plan construction

2. Manage product replenishment from central warehouse (France) for permanent products:

  • Collaborate with merchandising teams on assortment strategy
  • Manage application of distribution parameters to support this strategy
  • Optimize stock levels in stores and in dedicated buffer stock in France
  • Become a key user of replenishment tools and support any initiatives in replenishment tools upgrade
  • Support and initiate product re-balancing actions

3. Support product launches and events:

  • Manage launches of seasonal products in collaboration with merchandising team and central supply chain
  • Provide data analysis and recommendations for agile seasonal allocation strategy
  • Manage end of life for seasonal products
  • Support development and implementation of new tool for distribution of seasonal products



  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management, master or MBA is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain, Planning or Forecast and/or related experience
  • Understanding Demand and Distribution Planning principles, APICS/Forecast training and certification highly desirable
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations
  • Ability to operate and structure large amount of data, very strong knowledge of Excel is required
  • Ability to work with databases, SQL is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to understand all stakeholders' priorities and context, adapt communication to the counterpart
  • Able to work independently and self-motivated
  • Positive and open-minded in all interactions with counterparts, goodwill is a must
  • Able to structure and synthesize data and processes
  • Result oriented and dead-line driven
