To strengthen our commercial team in Switzerland are looking for a talented:

Demand Planning Director (M/F)

 

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will be a key partner to develop the commercial strategy for TAG Heuer and give recommendations for the budget and strategic plan of the brand. At the same time, you will be responsible for the execution of the plans on a daily basis by collaborating closely with our subsidiary teams.

We expect you to drive the sell-out focus in our subsidiaries across our retail, wholesale, e-commerce and travel retail channels. In this role, you will be at the heart of the operations of TAG Heuer, making the link between sales, supply chain and manufacturing. Being a key ambassador of TAG Heuer, your main duties will include:

 

  • Leading and optimizing our global demand planning process by managing the monthly forecast cycle in a timely manner together with our subsidiaries and partners,
  • Make sure the forecasting system is up to date and used correctly around the world
  • Prepare monthly reports for management team meetings
  • Be the sparring partner for our general managers to meet monthly forecast targets and ensure the right assortment for all the markets
  • Be the first point of contact for problem resolution for our subsidiaries and escalate issues to top management when necessary
  • Optimize our stock management across the world by implementing global guidelines
  • Manage the international product allocation for the core business and new product launches
  • Develop an outlet strategy in line with the brand direction and centrally manage allocations and stock levels for all our outlets
  • Manage 2 direct reports plus a team of 10 people

Additional information

  • Business master's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into action plans
  • Extensive experience in demand planning in a matrix organization
  • Proven experience to build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Commercially savvy with strong analytic skills
  • Solution and results orientated
  • Personal affinity with brand and products
  • Experience in watchmaking is a plus but not essential for this role
