Tasks and responsibilities
The following provides a rough outline of the tasks/responsibilities.
- Reports to the Quality Manager
- Implements quality tools and processes like e.g. advanced product quality planning, customer quality management and state of the art quality assurance methods to the manufacturing site
- Support the team to provide an optimized and efficient quality control, weekly deliveries according to the planning and to continuously work on improving the polyvalence as well as on the increase of skills
- Develops the third-party suppliers to the quality standards of the group (including supplier audits)
- Needs the mind-set of an enabler who understands quality management as a mean to drive product quality and customer satisfaction rather than a set of regulations that are ends in themselves
- Support the continuous improvement culture to the manufacturing site and its suppliers that is supported by QM in order to maximize the output of the operations
- Create and follow-up KPIs

Skills and competencies
- Office365
- Languages: Fluency in english & german, other languages are a plus
Requirements
- Experience in luxury goods industry (ideally jewelry or watches) or in industries with a high-quality approach (interior products/visible parts in automotive for premium vehicles) can provide a relevant background
- Experience in supplier quality audit is a plus
- The ideal candidate combines a pro-active mind-set and joined-up thinking skills across the entire value chain with a hands-on approach and a "get the job done" attitude
- Educational background: technical degree (engineering) with training in quality management
- Knowledge in relevant quality norms and regulations (ISO 9001, REACH)
- Ability to travel
